Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan movie was boycotted by internet users due to a four-year-old tweet from the movie’s writer Kanika Dhillon.
According to the PTI news agency report, Akshay Kumar responded to those who boycotted the Raksha Bandhan movie during the promotion of his film. Akshay Kumar said, “If you don’t feel like watching the movie, don’t watch it. It’s an independent country. So whether someone wants to see it or not is up to them.” Taapsee Pannu pulled Akshay Kumar’s leg, said – ‘As much as he pays taxes’..
Akshay further said: “There are very few people who do this job. They are doing mischief. No problem. This is a free country. Every person has the right to decide for himself. This helps the economy. There is no point in people do something like that. We are all on our way to make our country the biggest and greatest. I appeal to everyone not to get involved in this. I would ask everyone not to highlight such things. It will be good for our country.”
