Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty returns once again for her fans with the movie Nikamma. Directed by Sabbir Khan, the film also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia. The film’s trailer premiered in Mumbai on May 17, during which Shilpa Shetty also reminisced about the early days of her career. Shilpa Shetty began her career in 1993 with the Abbas-Mustan film Baazigar.
The actress said that when she started her career, she didn’t know much at the time. Even she couldn’t speak Hindi properly. It has been 30 years since Shilpa Shetty entered the film industry, so she also expressed her gratitude to her fans.
Shilpa said, I don’t know how people have tolerated me. People were more tolerant then. Now the audience is smart, so today you have to work very hard. I think the reason I’ve been here for so long is because I love my job.”
Shilpa recalled Shahrukh’s advice: Recalling the first shooting of the film Baazigar, Shilpa said that Shahrukh had given her very good advice. Shilpa said, “I didn’t understand Hindi, my grammar is still not correct, but I work hard. I learned Urdu and I speak a lot of Hindi. My first shot was in a park with Shah Rukh Khan before singing ‘Kitabe Bahuti Si’. At that time, I was quickly finishing up saying my line. And he couldn’t face the camera. Then Shah Rukh said to me ‘look at the camera, the camera is your viewer and say the lines'”.
We told you that looking at the movie poster, the movie seemed to be the story of a superwoman. But after the release of the trailer, it appears to be a story based on reality. The trailer for the film is 2.57 seconds long, in which Shilpa Shetty appears in the avatar of Superwoman. After this, she is seen ordering Abhimanyu Dassani. Abhimanyu calls him Haseen Villain, after which Super Villain Abhimanyu makes a vigorous entrance.
