Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, got a big relief on Friday (May 27, 2022) in the cruise ship drug party case. NCB has given the go-ahead in this case due to lack of evidence. According to Sanjay Kumar Singh, DDG (Operations) of NCB, “Drugs were found in the possession of all the accused except Aryan Khan and Mohk.”
He further reported that 14 people are being registered under various sections of the NDPS Act. No complaint is filed against the remaining six people due to lack of evidence. The BCN will hold a press conference on this matter at 3:00 p.m., in which detailed information will be given.
Aryan was arrested last year in the Cruise Dags case. He also had to stay in jail for about a month. In October 2021, NCB officials arrested Aryan and seven others after they hijacked a cruise ship from Mumbai to Goa. According to the NCB arrest memorandum, 13 grams of cocaine, five grams of MD (Mephodrone), 21 grams of charas and ecstasy and Rs 1.33 lakh were seized after the raid.
In this case, Aryan Khan and his two Munmun Dhamecha, Arbaaz Merchant were sent to NCB custody in drug case. A case was registered against him under the NDPS Act. A case was registered against Aryan Khan under sections 27 (punishment for consuming any intoxicating substance), 8C (production, manufacture, possession, sale or purchase of narcotic drugs) and other sections of the NDPS Act.
Aryan Khan was released after spending nearly a month in jail. Shahrukh Khan himself had come to collect it.
