Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik has expressed his anger at airlines on Twitter. He said that even after booking in advance somehow, the airlines gave up his seat to another passenger. Following his tweet, the airline apologized to the actor for the inconvenience.
Satish Kaushik wrote in his tweet: “Very sad that GoFirst Airways has to use wrong methods to make money from passengers. My office spotted two people (Satish Kaushik/Ajay Rai) in the front row. Reserved three seats for I paid 25K in G8 2315 from Mumbai-Dehradun on May 23, but unfortunately the middle seat was given to another passenger even though my office made the advance payment.
Zubin, a member of GoFirst, tried to convince the other passenger that he would be sent on the next flight, but he did not agree. After which I had to give that seat to him. Zubin and the stewardess thanked me. The stewardess told me that she would email her airline office to apologize for this unfortunate mess on her behalf. Zubin told me that I will ask the office to refund the money for his third seat.
“Is this correct? Is this a way to make more money by harassing the passenger? It’s not about getting the money back, it’s about expressing your complaint. I could have stopped the flight, but luckily and after three hours of delay, it didn’t seem right to hold passengers for more hours good luck Go to FirstAirways
Following this, GoFirst Airways apologized for the apology, writing: “Dear Satish, Thank you for contacting us and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Help will be forthcoming from our side soon.” In this Satish Kaushik post, many users have also expressed their discontent towards airlines.
