There has also been a debate on social media about the politics of Maharashtra. When film actors Swara Bhaskar and Simi Grewal gave a statement on the state’s policy, filmmaker Ashok Pandit told them both to be part of the PR team and said that he should have received a large amount for the tweet.
In reality, Swara Bhaskar had tweeted: ‘What the heck, why do we vote? Instead of elections, put a bumper cell every 5 years…. Simi Grewal, while praising Uddhav Thackeray, wrote: ‘Uddhav Thackeray is not greedy for power, so he does not adopt political tactics. It is difficult to find a principled leader like him in politics. Ashok Pandit was furious at this statement from both actresses and gave a strong reaction.
Ashok Pandit, quoting Swara’s tweet, wrote: ‘Don’t just trust PR people, love yourself, do some reading yourself. The people had cast their votes to win any other party, but he betrayed the people and formed a government with his enemies. By the way, how much is the deal for a tweet?
In his next tweet, Pandit shared the screenshot of Swara and Simi Grewal’s tweet and wrote, “Bollywood’s PR agency Mahavikas Aghadi has started to save the government.” These are the same people who call Shiv Sainiks as Gundas-Mawali. I’m sure each of the tweets would have gotten a lot of money.”
The old statement reminded Simi Grewal: Ashok Pandit did not stop here. Quoting Simi Grewal, he reminded her of an old statement and wrote: ‘I remember some time ago you said that Shiv Sena is a bunch of thugs, to which I replied. At least stick to your principles, even if you do business with a PR agency.
What’s the whole deal? We tell you that after the rebellion of the Shiv Sena leader and Uddhav’s right-hand man, Eknath Shinde, a political crisis has arisen in the state. Shinde claims that Shiv Sena has over 40 MLA with him. He has made many accusations against Uddhav Thackeray and the party. On the other hand, a day ago, Thackeray had said that if any Shiv Sainik wants to become a CM, he will resign, but will come forward and ask for it.
